Achievement highlights:

  • 2001: He was titled as "The Art Crafts Master of Zhe Jiang Province".
  • 2003: The Long-Quan City Government held the first sword and dao competition in 2003. one of his works, Fang Qing Qian Long Dao, was awarded as the top prize. 
    • The Gold Prize" by Long Quan City Government.  Another work. the Knight  Dao was awarded the Silver Prize. 
    • The "Bai Liian Hua Wen Long Quan Sword" was awarded the Art Craft Prize of Zhe Jiang Province and the Silver Prize in the Westlake Exposition.
  • 2005: The Museu De Arte De Macau held the first International Exhibition of Contemporary Blade Smiths. Chris was the only swordsmith who represented China in this exhibition. His Pieces are exquisite.  Every detail of his pieces would be considered and show latent power.
  • 2006: "Long Quan" presents the characters of tradition and creativity and Chris's pieces possess them both and are included in the Long Quan Annual in 2006.
    His achievement is remarkable and has become an important page in Long Quan's history.  One of his latest pieces. Tang Sword. won the Gold Prize of the China Art Craft Association at the China International Cultural Industry Fair,  This prize is still the highest honor in the China Blade art field.
  • 2007: Chris Zhou made the "Basaltic-Iron Han Sword" for the China president.
  • 2008: He served as president of the Long Quan Sword Association.
  • 2009: He was granted the title of the "Chinese Arts and Crafts Master".
  • 2009: He was granted the title of  "The Best Folk Artist" by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture.
