Master Alex Zheng
Alex Zheng is one of the few top master sword smiths in China and has been bestowed the title of “Master of Art” by his peers. With over 30 years of sword forging experience and numerous awards, Alex Zheng’s swords have been sought after by affluent collectors, high-ranking state and military officials as well as museums. A frequent contributor to the China Military weekly magazine, his thesis, and techniques have helped improve and enhance other swordsmiths' abilities. The respect Alex Zheng has among his peers is unrivaled.
Achievement highlights:
2004: Commissioned by the Peking Observatory to create the first “Yun-Tie Sword” material from a fallen meteor. Establishing China as the 3rd country in the world capable of forging with materials, not of this Earth.
2005: “Qin Sword” was incorporated into the permanent collection in the China Military Museum.
2006: China Central Television produced a special on Alex Zheng and his work of art.
2008: China Federation of Commerce commissioned Alex Zheng to create the “Sword of China”
2009: Took 1st and 2nd place in the ZheJiang Exhibition
2010: “Feng-Yun Sword” was chosen by the Long Quan government as the Sword of Hero.
